Anna Aquino is a singer-songwriter from Taguig. In 2017, she was already joining bar gigs and busking in Tagaytay, Luneta, and Intramuros.
In 2019, she also performed at the Wish 107.5 Roadshow and as part of her development, Anna also joined FILSCAP and PhilPop songwriting Bootcamp where her mentors included Jungee Marcelo, Rico Blanco, Quest, Noel Cabangon, and Trina Belamide.
In 2020, she signed a recording-artist contract with PolyEast Records.
With a songwriting style that emphasizes her flair for storytelling and a lovely voice that has the discipline to ramp up and temper the "hugot" factor when needed, Anna Aquino is certainly one of the most intriguing young artists to watch out for.
