First wielding a six-string at the age of 15, Wax Works quickly fell in love with writing and producing his own music. Wax Works’ bedroom-pop sound is forged from noughties indie vocal tones and modern disco beats, with a tendency for high-energy riffs.
Featuring as Jack Saunders’ (BBC Radio 1) Next Wave, Wax Works’ debut EP ‘Why You So Sad?’ was met with huge success, propelling him onto festival slots such as Truck and Boardmasters.
Joining forces with fellow Bedroom Popster @George Moir, Wax Works’ new single ‘Lost & Found’ discusses the inevitable fragility and anxiety living in your own head too much leads to. Whilst an upbeat love song, ‘Lost & Found’ holds darker undertones relating to an inability to find comfort in life.
