Sebastian Steinhardt from Hamburg - Germany plays what comes to his mind, without notes and without limits. He lets himself be guided by his intuition, his mood and his audience. He creates unique piano music from the moment, which sometimes can be gentle and soft, sometimes powerful, harmonious, and also dissonant. He is a master of free improvisation.
He studied music (bachelor) with focus on jazz / pop piano (diploma) as well as music management and media (master) at the University of Music, Drama and Media in Hannover.
He participated in many big band, jazz and orchestra projects. In addition, there are chamber music, band and solo projects, compositions for various ensembles and orchestras, radio recordings and CD productions.
Sebastian has already received several awards and won competitions. In his improvisation shows he inspires his audience, creating music to pictures or texts as a holistic concept between music and theater - together with other artists or as a soloist.
His own compositions have also won several awards and are met with great interest: Sebastian writes for singers, bands, theater or films.
In addition, he supports well-known artists and celebrities on the piano and participates in various musical projects.
