Like many artists, Logã had to interrupt his series of releases due to the pandemic. But finally the EP ‘Ande Junto de Mim’ was resumed and it already has two more singles. The artist from Rio de Janeiro who, in addition to his talents as a designer, actor and social communicator, managed to reactivate the project thanks to his new occupation as a residential painter. “I needed to reinvent myself beyond the routine of paying slips. In December 2020 I painted my house, took some pictures and publicized it. Many friends were in need of just that. I've worked a lot since then and production was resumed”, says the singer.
‘C’est La vie’, song by Logã with feat. by the singer Valeria Sattamini, portrays – with poetic lyrics and strong arrangement – these endings of cycles, with good memories and melancholy endings. Rock soundtrack for a movie drama. This song - sung in Portuguese and French that hits the platforms on June 30 - is the 5th single of the EP ‘Ande Junto de Mim’ which will be released in full on August 11th. Before the release of the EP, the 6th and last single from this work, ‘Acasalos’, comes to streaming on July 28th.
The series of releases for this EP started in September 2019 and after the 4th single, 'Filha de Iansã' (Daughter of Iansã) with feat. by saxophonist and arranger Glaucus Linxs, released in Feb.2020, the pandemic interrupted the work. But now in 2021, Logã, in addition to finalizing this album, will also continue the releases of the EP inspired by the pandemic. In both works, Logã seeks to unite rhythmic elements of Afro-Indigenous-Brazilian music, such as afoxé, maculelê and maracatu with distorted guitars and poetic lyrics with an engaging chorus.
