music... Rank-O plays the 'after all of these' music. 'Punk' but not 'post punk' ?
Cleary, this is the four boys approach. Rather than recreate those good all days, the music
rests on their spiritual fathers' shoulders to built a path than they and only they own looking to
the future of this white whale named 'guitars rock'.
Inhabited by a certain science for complexe structures (probably inherited from the
avant-guard of the 60's to the 90's), Rank-O also cultivates a sincere and a deep love for the
pop songs, immediate melodies, sometimes sneaky but sometimes joyfully minimalists.
That is this duality between twisted components and children's games that give Rank-O's
music is unique nature, that impression of a 'mille-feuille' full of surprises, dipping in a
refreshing bath of youth.
