Nachtschatten

Nachtschatten, a German melodic death metal band from Karlsruhe, was formed in 2010. The group originated from a folk metal band of the same name founded in 2008 by Daniel Wengle and Andreas Siefert. After the dissolution of the original band in 2010, Wengle and Siefert continued under the Nachtschatten moniker with a shift towards melodic death metal. Their debut album Prolog was released in 2015, via Sonic Revolution. In 2020, they released their EP Leuchtfeuer, through Fastball, followed by their second album Polaris in 2025.
