Andrew Walsingham, also known as V4NT4, is a hip hop/dubstep producer and a graduate of ICON Collective, originally from the Bay Area and currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. He developed his passion for music at a young age, starting with drumming. V4NT4 dedicated himself to practicing on a standard drum set before eventually joining the Bay Orchestra in Panama City, FL as a percussionist.
In his artistic journey, V4NT4 primarily focuses on dubstep, bass house, and hip hop. He has had the opportunity to collaborate with several notable artists in the past year, including Lil' Flip, Slim Guerilla, Danny Towers, Riff Raff, Valy Mo, and Joey Diggs Jr. among others. Currently, V4NT4 is working on new music and collaborations for his highly anticipated debut album set to release in August 2023.
The name V4NT4 (VANTA) draws inspiration from the substance known as Vantablack, recognized as one of the darkest substances known to humankind, absorbing 99.965% of light. V4NT4 reflects this darkness and depth in his music, which is characterized by its uniqueness and meaning. Regardless of listeners' backgrounds, V4NT4 promotes his multi-genre music to reach a wide audience. Additionally, the brand is preparing to venture into promoting style and fashion alongside the music.
