From Knockin’ on Heavens Door to the present days
I've learnt the first guitar chords when I was 15 years old. My uncle taught me Knockin‘ on Heavens Door. Since then my focus is to write my own songs.
Singing came a little later, at 17. In 2004, I debuted in TERRA PRIMA, still active nowadays and that has recorded two studio and one live albuns.
Inspired by rock singers on its many styles, from Grunge to Metal, passing through Pop and Hard Rock, such as Axl Rose (Guns n’ Roses), Daniel Johns (Silverchair), Andre Matos (ex-angra, recently passed away) and Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), I started singing in cover bands. I also learned about bands such as Muse, The Killers and 30 Seconds to Mars, which have added a lot of nuances to my voice. On Terra Prima‘s album Second it’s possible to listen to many of those nuances.
Terra Prima recorded both studio albuns with Marcello Pompeu and Heros Trench (both winners on Latin Grammy Awards) from Korzus. This partnership led me to the Recording Engineer of Korzus album Legion (2014 - AFM Records) and to write Bleeding Pride lyrics. In 2013, I was responsible for DUNE HILL’s debut album (White Sand) musical production.
In 2016, Terra Prima released HELLCIFE LIVE, a live album. I also directed the film crew and edited. The same happened on Thomas videoclip, including the underwater scenes. Both can be watched on Terra Prima’s Youtube.
In 2020 there will come a Metal Opera called Pirate Ship! So.. ... join the crew and come closer!
