Born in London of Irish heritage, Jot Maxi McNamee (full birth name) is an enigmatic songwriter and vocalist with an extreme arsenal of styles ranging from ambient Dark Pop through to raw Drill Rap and all the way up to hardcore Heavy Metal!
Jot uses this broad vocal range to switch between deep low-fi tones and vibrant fast-paced screams, mixing inspiration from elements of Hip-Hop, Nu-Metal, Punk and Pop into one.
Having featured on their first album 'Outside the Box', Jot was later asked to join the critically acclaimed British Rap-Metal band 'Hacktivist' in 2017 following the departure of their previous front-man.
Prior to working with the band, Jot Maxi was known most notably for taking the mic at live shows across the underground UK and European Dubstep & Future-Bass scene alongside groups such as Grime music pioneers 'Macabre Unit' and European Bass Music Label ‘Not4Kids’.
Jot now continues to release music and tour with his band Hacktivist whilst working on a new breed of solo material and various other projects across an array of genres.
