Soph stands for catchy melodies and hooks, modern sounds, honest lyrics and soulful polyphony. With this distinctive mix, the singer creates German-language songs on the pulse of time and brings both German pop and Schlager fans at their expense. In her songs Soph sings about all facets of being in love, the emotional high points and the associated fears of loss, about fun in independence and the advantages of being single. Together with her producer duo, Soph is always striving to develop new creative arrangements and sounds that breathe special life into her songs and thus make the lyrics tangible in their meaning.
This is exactly how her previous singles Nicht Mit Dir, Stimme SpĆ¼ren, Kalte FĆ¼Će (Au Revoir) and Du Bist Schƶn came about, all of which have achieved radio airplay. A great success that the all-round musician (piano, synthesizer, guitar, ukulele, drums, saxophone and recorder) has been working towards for a long time.
Yet her path to radio originally began quite differently: At the tender age of ten, Soph already appeared in front of the camera as a children's presenter together with Julian le Play at the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation, on the Confetti TiVi shows "Kids4Kids" and "CloseUp" on ORF 1. Years later, the self-confident presenter then moved to private radio ā but just speaking into the microphone wasn't enough for her. After numerous musical stage appearances with a synth-pop/soul band, Soph has now been releasing her own songs since 2019. In the process, the Lower Austrian can also look back on various collaborations with Vincent Bueno and Dave Reismann. Since 2020, Sony Music acts as a distributor.
