I’m a Nigerian artiste. I love to write songs and I still don’t know what I like more in rapping and singing so I sometimes do both.
I started listening to a lot of music on the radio when I was 9 years old and was glued to the American Top 40 show. I loved particular songs on the chart so I learned the lyrics. I became addicted to music, it was my drug. Growing up I was deeply interested in Geography and I envisioned my future as a Pilot. By 11 years of age I was enrolled in a boarding school and I didn’t have access to music so I started writing my own songs to satisfy my addiction. In my senior year, I discovered artistes in my age group like Nasty C and XXXTENTACION so I began envisioning myself like them because I had similar lyrical, vocal and social abilities. Music became my dream and I impatiently waited to graduate so I could start off. I created my name KiD JET in respect to my undying passion for Geography and dream of becoming a Pilot. I released my first official song titled “Wildfire fbn” with my secondary school mate Marcent 2020, some months after we both graduated.
My latest release is titled “Vibe” with Marcent. After making a couple of “sad” songs we made this song as a freestyle and it turned out amazing.
