Born in the Dominican Republic, yet proudly embracing his Italian heritage, Max has devoted his life to sharing his boundless musicality and vitality with the world.
An artist of extraordinary versatility, Max excels as an accordionist, composer, DJ, guitarist, lyricist, pianist, producer, and keyboardist. His career is adorned with illustrious accolades, including 31 Diamond certifications, 183 Platinum certifications, and 12 Gold certifications.
He holds an unparalleled 216 global certification records, with 88 RIAA awards across numerous productions — a resounding testament to his artistry and craftsmanship within the realms of electronic and pop music, all whilst operating from his base in Italy.
With over 16 billion streams across his collaborations, Max’s influence reverberates throughout the global musical landscape.
His debut studio album, ARIES (2022), featuring celebrated tracks such as Mi Señorita, Uno Para el Otro, and Periódico del Ayer, was met with widespread critical acclaim, gracing coveted playlists such as Spotify’s Viral Hits and Hits Italiane.
This landmark project, championed by Danny Ocean and secured under Warner Music Latina’s subsidiary Red Wine, marked a pivotal moment in his illustrious ascent.
Max’s earliest contribution to the international music industry dates back to 2013, when he produced I Like It That Way for Selena Gomez’s debut album Stars Dance. His breakthrough continued in 2015 with Justin Bieber’s Been You — a bonus track from the record-breaking album Purpose — propelling Max into the industry’s upper echelons whilst still a student. Purpose subsequently broke multiple Guinness World Records and garnered over 210 awards worldwide, including two GRAMMY nominations in 2016.
Under the alias FRNDS in 2017, Max produced a widely acclaimed remix of 2U by David Guetta and Justin Bieber, amassing millions of streams across Spotify and YouTube.
His musical prowess led to collaborations with some of the most illustrious figures in music, including Abraham Mateo, Aitana, Andrés Cepeda, Anuel AA, Arcángel, Bad Bunny, Cardi B, DJ Snake, Drake, ECKO, Enmanuel, Feid, Fey, Justin Bieber, Marco Antonio Solís, Mijares, Mora, Ozuna, Selena Gomez, and Yuridia, amongst many others.
Among his most notable achievements, Max produced and composed Síguelo Bailando by Ozuna in 2017 — a standout hit from the critically acclaimed album Odisea.
The album, nominated for Best Urban Music Album at the Latin GRAMMYs, attained Diamond status in the United States and multi-platinum recognition across the globe. Billboard subsequently hailed Odisea as one of the 100 Greatest Albums of the 2010s.
In 2018, Max further cemented his reputation by producing MIA by Bad Bunny featuring Drake — a landmark collaboration that became the first Spanish-language song to top the U.S. Apple Music charts. Certified 5× Diamond by the RIAA and achieving Top 5 status on the Billboard Hot 100, MIA received multiple platinum awards across Europe and the Americas. X 100PRE, the album it adorned, was crowned Best Urban Music Album at the Latin GRAMMYs and lauded by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest debut albums of all time.
That same year, Max contributed to the international phenomenon Taki Taki by DJ Snake, featuring Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B — a track that dominated global charts and amassed billions of streams.
His collaboration with Pulse on No Hay Mañana in 2018 further showcased his deftness in blending rap and Latin rhythms.
Throughout his career, Max has been honoured by the Latin American Music Awards and the Billboard Latin Music Awards, further underlining his profound impact upon the industry.
During the global pandemic in 2020, Max collaborated with Anuel AA on Nubes Negras (from the EMMANUEL album) and continued to lend his creative genius to Anuel’s subsequent albums LLNM and LLNM2, earning nominations at the Billboard Latin Music Awards and Premios Tu Música Urbano.
In 2022, Max expanded his influence by arranging and producing Starlight for the K-pop phenomenon Dreamcatcher, whose album Apocalypse: Save Us was named by Time magazine as one of the Best K-pop Albums of the Year.
That year, he also participated in a prestigious remix competition for Light Switch by Charlie Puth, organised by LabelRadar in collaboration with Atlantic Records and Warner Music, achieving an esteemed second place — further testament to his standing within the global electronic music sphere.
Max’s deft touch on Vocation, an EDM collaboration between Ozuna and David Guetta, premiered at the 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. The song received nominations for Crossover Collaboration of the Year at the Latin AMAs 2024, Favourite Dance Track at Premios Juventud, and Urban Collaboration of the Year at Premios Lo Nuestro 2025.
In 2023, Max captivated the world once more with DEMO #5: nostalgia — an audacious AI project under the pseudonym FlowGPT, featuring the virtualised voices of Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber. The song became a viral sensation, dominating TikTok and sparking cultural conversations worldwide.
Beyond music, Max’s talents have also graced television and cinema. His contributions to acclaimed series such as Luis Miguel: La Serie, Selena: La Serie, La Última: Una historia sobre empezar (starring Aitana and Miguel Bernardeau), and La Casa de las Flores have been widely celebrated across platforms including Disney+, Netflix, and Prime Video, as well as in cinematic productions such as La Boda de Mi Mejor Amigo by Sony Pictures and El Secreto de Selena by Disney Media for Telemundo.
