Hamlet, a Spanish metal band from Madrid, was formed in 1987 by José Molinero and Luis Tárraga. Initially attempting to release an album singing in English titled Life Goes On, they later shifted to Spanish and released an EP titled Hamlet in 1991. Their debut studio album, Peligroso, was released on July 22, 1992. In 1994, Hamlet signed with Romilar-D Records and recorded their second album, Sanatorio de Muñecos. The band's third studio album, Revolución 12.111, was released in 1996 under Zero Records. Notable collaborations include performances at Festimad and Dr. Music festivals, as well as tours with bands like Fear Factory and Rage Against the Machine. Hamlet's discography includes twelve studio albums, showcasing their evolution from hard rock to nu-metal and beyond.
