Foxboro Hot Tubs is an American garage rock band formed in 2007 as a side project of Green Day. Their lineup included all members of Green Day—Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool—along with Jason White, Jason Freese, and Kevin Preston. They gained initial attention through messages sent to select members of the Idiot Club, Green Day's fan club, featuring three songs on their website. They released the debut album Stop Drop and Roll!!! (2008). They performed under this name for secret shows, playing tracks from their debut album as well as covers from Green Day and their other side project, The Network. Notable singles included "Mother Mary", which reached number 16 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, and "The Pedestrian". In 2010, they performed new material including "Fuck Time", which later appeared on Green Day’s album ¡Dos! (2012).
