Leandro César is a musician who also makes musical instruments and sound sculptures. He has been developing his work of musical instruments invention and creation since 2007, pervading music from songs till the contemporary and experimental music; Brazilian instrumental music and a strong interest about folk culture.
He worked for six years with UAKTI, an instrumental music group, performing maintenance to the instruments and working as a sound technician during the group’s tours throughout Brazil, USA and several countries in Europe. Influenced by Walter Smetak and Marco Antônio Guimarães, Leandro develops an important work in seeking new musical possibilities.
