Born Old-Order Amish; now ex-Amish. Grew up poor in the deep mountains of Eastern KY, isolated both culturally (strict ex-amish parents) and geographically from contemporary musical influences. Vocal delivery influenced by both Amish & Appalachian singing styles. Wrote epic Concept Album on Space, from Big Bang to Universal Death after discovering the works of Carl Sagan. Lead single "Found You" considers what it would be like to be the first human to discover Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence. A song that seems to capture, at once, both the defiance and trepidation of such a moment.
