A talented sound system DJ, songwriter and Producer knew to many as Docta Cee Empire aka Musical Surgery was born and raised from the sunshine city of Portmore, Jamaica. In the late 2000s, Top Secret Music recognized Musical Surgery exceptional talent and enthusiasm for music production when Musical Surgery was given the opportunity to work on several Reggae and Dancehall projects like:
Ansel Collins INSTRUMENTAL SHOWCASE, QUEEN FACE RIDDIM featuring Vybz Kartel, Junior Reid, Anthony B, Harry Toddler, Delly Ranks, STRICTLY REGGAE MUSIC featuring some of reggae and dancehall icons like Dawn Penn, Frankie Paul, Spanner Banner, Terry Linen, Terror Fabulous, FREE THE SESS with Mighty Diamonds, Macka B and SKA FUN featuring legendary Ska artiste Derrick Morgan, Beanie Man, Sugar Minott & Junior Cat.
Since 2019 Musical Surgery begins to release some of his own instrumental and music production like Bad Indian instrumental, True love instrumental, Question instrumental, Winey winey instrumental, Reggae festival dub mix, Uncomfortable truth, Lie and the truth featuring reggae dancehall artist DiegOff, A riddim compilation title 9tie’s dancehall featuring Mr Bertus, Sekret, Problem child. Portmore city with Vybz Kartel just to name a few.
