Guillermina Perrino is an independent author and composer born in the city of La Plata. Inspired by soft indie, dark pop and indie rock artists, she writes songs steeped in introspection. Her music is characterized by the simplicity of the arrangements and the form, accompanied by melodies interpreted by a graceful and soft voice.
Her first release was called “Little Songs”, an EP that features three original songs performed on guitar and vocals. Its premiere was made exclusively on Bandcamp in 2014, being re-released in 2022 on all platforms.
In 2019 she released “What I Need”, her second EP. Both were composed and recorded by Guille, and produced by Emanuel Mendez (a.k.a. Piel Reloj), with whom she also released a new version of “Between Stars” in March 2022.
In addition to her original productions, the artist is known for covering songs by other artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Nirvana, System Of A Down, among others. Her covers are drenched in personality, generating a strong contrast between the original versions and these others, tinged with nostalgia and delicacy. Her last publication was “Heart Shaped Box”, which has a video clip produced by AgustĂn Pinedo and the collaboration of Mariano ArgemĂ in mixing and mastering.
In 2022 she will also be releasing “Regrets”, an instrumental EP that tells the story of a love bond locked in a constant loop. It was recorded at the Don Bosco Theater in La Plata, where Guille used to practice piano in high school.
Among other projects, Guillermina is a vocalist and keyboardist for Anybody There, a musical duo formed with Emanuel Mendez since 2012. She also participates as a keyboardist for the solo project Piel Reloj and the rock band Piantaos.
In 2020 she created her entrepreneurship Somos MĂşsicxs, dedicated to disseminating information about self-management in music to accompany independent artists in their careers. Currently, she is working as a label manager at the music distributor FaroLatino.
