Mthandazo Gatya Bio
Born and raised in a small township Called weilers farm, in the south of Johannesburg, started singing in
Primary as part of the school choir , in 2010 after winning second prize on jam Alley, Mthandazo never
looked back, after years of patience and hard work Mthandazo finally got his breakthrough with a song
called Senzeni which was released in 2020 by Jozi Entertainment and got his first ever SAMA
nomination, from then onwards his career has been elevating, saw him get international recognition
after being number one on spotify viral charts, the collaboration made it to the Billboards in Toronto
and went as far as being nominated for Video Of The Year abroad and has also been chosen as the
Beijing Winter Olympics theme song in Canada.
Mthandazo has scored himself another international collaboration and has new music coming out with
the UK based multi platinum selling singer/rapper named S1mba, Mthandazo’s mission is to heal
through his music, which resulted to him naming his debut album “New Age Healer” which is available in
all digital platforms.
