Christophe Luciani is a versatile musician skilled in cello, piano, and composition.
He studied the cello at the Conservatory of Boulogne-Billancourt in Paris, graduating with distinction.
In 2013, he received the “Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musique” from the University of Paris. Since then, he has been pursuing his master’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz.
In May 2016, Christophe was awarded the SECOND PRIZE at the Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition Salzburg and subsequently worked as a cellist with the Vienna Radio Orchestra from 2016 to 2018, enriching his musical journey.
In March 2018, he obtained his master’s degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria.
In July 2023, Christophe was honored with the GRAND PRIZE for the composition of "Little French Valse n°4" at the USA MUSIC COMPOSITION AND VIDEO PRODUCTION International Competition held by IYMC, the jury commented, stating :
"Marvelous. Superbly artistic, full of life and very inventive. Such a great piece, I almost wish we lived back in the 19th century. To us, one of the signs of great composers is not repeating anything that has been already said. Liszt could get together with Chopin and compose this, but not in 2023..."
