Belgian Hip-Hop producer and beat maker
Sir Freak is a Hip Hop beatmaker and music producer from Belgium. As an outsider to the Hip Hop scene, he will often try to approach Hip Hop music production from a different angle. With beats that often slightly deviate from the norm, he tries to give his own twist to a genre that is close to his heart. For Sir Freak, making beats started out in his late teens, when he and his friends experimented with making some rap songs. After a few years out of the game, the creative urge became too great, and in 2018 he decided to start making beats again. Now, during the Covid-19 lockdown, he released his first producer EP together with 5 artists from the United States.
Sir Freak is influenced by, among others, Dr. Dre, DJ Battlecat, Eminem, Timbaland, Scott Storch, DJ.Fresh and Swizz Beatz. But as an organist, Sir Freak also dares to incorporate organ sounds or symphonic elements into his music.
