Pablo Andrés Portillo Caicedo, artistically known as El Minz (the skinny one, in French) (N. San Juan de Pasto-12/06/1988) is a Colombian musician, producer, author and performer.
Knowing about his gift for composing, he started in urban music in 2006 with few opportunities to record songs and adding the lack of resources made it difficult to achieve his goal of materializing his talent on a compact disc, he failed in his attempt to record but this did not it stayed like this
He decided to undertake by himself the search for the necessary equipment to record his songs, working in different fields that included selling clothes, calls, informal transportation service, photocopies, with the sole purpose of consolidating his own musical studio by reading on the internet and learning. of producers such as preacher, musicologist and menes, Pavel de jesus among others, thus inadvertently beginning his role as a music producer.
It was not until 2009 when he began to release his first songs recorded on disc together with rapper Jonathan Paredes (Nobleza mc).
With songs like “Escúchame y Tu y Yo en el amor” he managed to mark his own style in the urban genre, fulfilling the proposed expectations, to the point that he decided to create his own musical studio called PICY RECORDS, accompanied by the motto “where music is produced”. magic”, in honor of a deceased friend and colleague who liked to pronounce those words every time he promoted the studio or sang on stage.
He currently has 77 songs recorded and continues his artistic process collaborating with different national and foreign artists, carrying messages of improvement and love in every corner where they are allowed.
