Jay mixes feeling with rhythm in his production, and sometimes has soothing vocals or harmonies on a song, finding himself being labeled a singer.
The recording artist, producer, songwriter, became the first FreeState-born artist to be part of a show hosted by Sportscene and Puma. Thus, getting his self-produced record ‘Wav’; placed in a music blog. This got him to drop an EP which got him in a different conversation around town.
In 2025, Jay OT delivers an update, a checkpoint in time: ‘For Now’ —a raw, self-produced 10-minute EP not planned for.. but had to drop. This marks his second self-made release, following 2WENNY2. Not a grand statement, not a final form—just something for now.
