Aborym, an Italian industrial black metal band from Taranto, Apulia, was formed in 1992 by bassist and vocalist Malfeitor Fabban. The group initially performed covers of bands like Sodom and Mayhem before releasing their first demo, Worshipping Damned Souls, in 1993. After a brief hiatus, Aborym reformed in Rome in 1997 with new members Yorga SM and Sethlans, recording the demo Antichristian Nuclear Sabbath. Their debut full-length album, Kali-Yuga Bizarre, was released in 1999 through Scarlet Records. The band's unique sound garnered critical acclaim and a dedicated following. Subsequent albums included Fire Walk with Us! (2001), With No Human Intervention (2003), Generator (2006), Psychogrotesque (2010), and SHIFTING.negative (2017).
