Yan Springett is a classically trained composer and pianist known for delicate piano solo compositions and for curating the label repertoire of Aemeralds.
Growing up close to the woods near Freiburg and spending much time in nature has shaped his style of composition and still strongly influences his works today. Although he was always passionate about playing classical music from Mozart, Beethoven, or Chopin, he also developed a love for writing his own melodies at an early age, which would eventually evolve into neo-classical recordings.
In 2022, together with his brother Robin Springett, he launched the rapidly growing label Aemeralds, with a focus on aesthetic classical recordings.
