This Providence was an American alternative rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2003 by Dan Young, Phil Cobrea, Gavin Phillips, and Paul Benson. They released their debut EP The Sunday Best in 2003 and gained local attention. In 2004, they released their first full-length album, Our Worlds Divorce. The band underwent several lineup changes, including the addition of David Blaise on bass in 2006 and Andy Horst on drums in 2007. They signed with Fueled by Ramen and released their self-titled album in 2006. In 2009, they released their third studio album, Who Are You Now?, which included the single "Keeping On Without You". This Providence disbanded in February 2013 after releasing their final EP, Brier, in 2012.
