María Isabel López Rodríguez, known professionally as María Isabel, was born on January 4, 1995, in Ayamonte, Huelva, Spain. She is a singer and actress who gained prominence at a young age. Her breakthrough moment came when she won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 with "Antes muerta que sencilla". Following her victory, María Isabel released her debut album ¡No me toques las palmas que me conozco! on June 20, 2008, which included her winning song and earned four Platinum certifications. The album was produced by Vale Music and distributed internationally by Universal Music Group. In the same year, she embarked on her first concert tour across Spain and America, performing in various television programs and events. She also contributed to the soundtrack of the film Barbie y la magia de Pegaso with the song "En mi jardín."
