Popsicle, a pop-rock group formed in Stockholm in 1991, consisted of vocalist and guitarist Andreas Mattsson, guitarist Fredrik Norberg, drummer PA Wikander, and bassist Kenneth Wikstrom, later replaced by Arvid Lind. The band released the mini-album Template in 1992, followed by Lacquer the same year, which peaked at number 34 on charts and earned a Grammis Award. Their single "Hey Princess" was included on Lacquer and issued as a single in 1993, while "Not Forever" was released as a single from their self-titled third album Popsicle in 1995. Popsicle disbanded in April 1999 following a Japanese tour, reunited in 2005 for a farewell gig, and reformed in 2018, performing the Popsicle album in full at the Stockholm Culture Festival.
