Dilbahar Demirbag, known professionally as Dilba, was born in 1971, in Kirvan, Turkey. She immigrated to Sweden at age four and grew up in Karlstad and Uppsala. Dilba began her musical journey learning piano and guitar, eventually starting her career as a DJ and backup singer. Dilba's breakthrough came with her self-written debut album Dilba (1996), which included the single “I'm Sorry”. The album sold over 100,000 copies in Sweden and earned Dilbahar Demirbag a Grammy. Following a successful summer tour in 1997, she released her second album You & I (1999). In 2005, Dilba composed the theme song “Miracle” for the Swedish television series Kommissionen. She participated in Melodifestivalen 2011 with the song “Try Again”, which became an instant hit.
