Venezuelan singer, of popular tradition. She has taken Venezuelan popular music to countries in South America, Africa, Europe and Asia, sharing songs with other Venezuelan singers such as Cecilia Todd, Lilia Vera, Francisco Pacheco, Gualberto Ibarreto, Amaranta and José Delgado, and Liuba María Hevia, Amaury Pérez and Marta Gómez, among others from Latin America.
He has recorded and produced three record works: “Ahora” (Spain, 2007), “Leña, maíz, papelón” (Argentina, 2010) and “Parece mentira”, live Venezuelan boleros (Venezuela, 2014); and has participated in others, such as collaborations with artists and institutions: Classica venezolana (Germany, 2010, D&G), Madrugada luminosa (Vzla, 2012, CENDIS), Tribute to Eduardo Serrano (Vzla, 2014, CENDIS), Tribute to Luis Laguna (Vzla, 2015, CENDIS).
Since 2018 he has produced a series of videos -more than 20- for social networks collected on the label #HechoEnCasa, a family proposal where the protagonist is Venezuelan and Latin American popular music with a liberating sense. Since the start of the Covid 19 Pandemic, he has produced and co-produced videos in collaboration with other musicians, published with the hashtag #HechoEnCuarentena. Fabiola José has a degree in music, mention in lyrical singing from IUDEM, Caracas, carrying out specialization studies with Master Tom Krause in Spain and “Les Jeunes voix du Rhin” in France.
Msc. in Arts and Cultures of the South from the National Experimental University of the Arts, UNEARTE. She is a research professor at this house of studies, where she creates and coordinates the "Otilio Galíndez" Chair of Liberating Singing. Participate and collaborate with different Research groups linked to decolonial aesthetic practices. His work “Sing from the South. From the decolonization of the song to the liberating song” was presented and approved with publication mention in June 2020.
