It was during the lockdown in the south that Léo Agapitos experienced a true creative liberation, giving rise to a unique fusion of techno, ambient, and synthwave. His works, inspired by the captivating soundscapes of Air, the calm ambiances of Jon Hopkins, and the minimalism of Brian Eno, embark on an artistic journey towards bold and captivating horizons.
In April 2024, Léo released his debut EP, Journey Through the Mist, in collaboration with Bruce Wijn. This project delicately merges ambient and lo-fi, crafting contemplative sonic landscapes. A few months later, in June 2024, he expanded his musical universe with Suddenly Close, an EP created alongside OMOH, blending atmospheric ambient sounds with indie pop melodies.
These two projects embody Léo’s artistic approach: a pursuit of balance between introspection and innovation, creating music that is as visual as it is emotional, deeply inspired by his travels and life between Paris and Brussels.
