Uwe Adam Ochsenknecht, born on January 7, 1956, in Biblis, Germany, is a German actor and singer. He began his career as an actor, making his debut in 1972 with various film and television productions. Ochsenknecht's breakthrough role came in 1981 with the film Das Boot, directed by Wolfgang Petersen. His acting career spanned over 175 film and television projects, including notable roles in Männer (1985) and Schtonk! (1992). In the early 1990s, Ochsenknecht ventured into music, releasing several albums. His musical endeavors include collaborations with prominent musicians such as Mick Rogers of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band and Thomas Blug. Notable releases include the singles "If I Had a Wish" (1992) and "Only One Woman" (1992), and the album Girls Crossing (1994).
