A particularly precocious artist, accordionist Bruno Lorenzoni began taming his instrument at the age of three, winning his first competition at four and a half. Bruno Lorenzoni also learnt to play the violin and began composing at the age of eight. He was admitted to the SACEM at the age of sixteen, as the regulations of the time did not allow registration before that age. The accordionist began recording at the end of the 1950s, and became especially famous for the theme songs he composed for TV shows such as Le Schmilblic and Tournez Manège! In 1998, the compilation Mes Titres en Or did justice to the immense talent of one of the kings of musette.
