Los Limones, a Spanish pop/rock group formed in 1983 in Ferrol, began as an amateur act under the name Los Limones del Caribe. Their first significant release was the mini-LP Sun in 1987, followed by winning the Grupo Revelación award from Radiocadena Española. In 1989, they released their debut full-length album, Sube la Marea, which included the hit single "Te voy siguiendo". The group underwent numerous lineup changes but continued to produce notable songs like "Cuando aparezca el sol" (1989) and "Trenes sin destino" (1990). Their 1992 album Música clásica featured the hit "El canto de la sirena". After disbanding in 1997, Los Limones reformed in 2001 and continued releasing albums such as ¡Sigue! (2008), 13 (2014), and Quintos del 64 (2015).
