Born by his stage name, Ronehi grew up in Warri, Nigeria and grew up learning various instruments before settling for drums which he learned at his local church. His passion for drums and other percussive instruments translated to music production during his time at university in the UK.
Ronehi approached production from a minimalist perspective, often pairing heavy percussions with subtle leads, creating detailed beats that effortlessly fuse seemingly incompatible genres.
