The Nerve Agents was an American hardcore punk and horror punk band formed in February 1998 in San Francisco, California. The ensemble was founded by vocalist Eric Ozenne and drummer Andy Outbreak, also known as Andy Granelli. The group released its debut eponymous EP, The Nerve Agents, in July 1998. The band’s lineup included guitarists Timmy Stardust and Kevin Cross, and bassist Dante Sigona. In 2000, the ensemble released the split recording The Nerve Agents/Kill Your Idols and the studio album Days of the White Owl. The ensemble performed live shows that resulted in fans or band members requiring medical attention. The group released its final studio album, The Butterfly Collection, in 2001. The band performed its final concerts on December 30, 2001. Following the disbandment, Granelli performed with The Distillers, and Stardust, also known as Tim Presley, formed the projects White Fence and Darker My Love.
