Eggstone, a Swedish indie pop group, was formed in 1986. The band consisted of Per Sunding on vocals and bass, Patrik Bartosch on guitar, and Maurits Carlsson on drums. Early releases included the EPs Bubblebed (1990) and Shooting Time (1991), followed by At Point Loma (1992) and In Lemon Grove (1992). Their debut album, In San Diego was released in 1992 under Snap Records and included the Swedish radio hit "Can't Come Close Enough." In 1994, they released their second album, Somersault, and in 1995 they left MNW’s Soap label to found Vibrafon Records. They released their third album Vive La Différence! in 1997 on Vibrafon, followed by the compilation albums Spanish Slalom (1998) and Ça Chauffe En Suède ! (1999). After a long hiatus, Eggstone returned with the single "Like So" in 2016, based on a previously recorded 2002 demo.
