J Holiday

Nahorn Thorton Grymes, aka J. Holiday, is an American R&B singer and hip-hop performer who grew up in the capital and began singing while at high school. His 2007 debut album 'Back of My Lac' went to number one on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and number five on the Billboard 200. 'Round 2' (2009) reached number two on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and number four on the Billboard 200. 'Guilty Conscience' (2014) peaked at number 43 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.

His 2007 track 'Bed' topped Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart and the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and reached number five on the Hot 100. 'Suffocate' (2008) also topped the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Chart, reached number two on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart and peaked at number 18 on the Hot 100. He released a track titled 'Feel Like' in 2019 with another album 'Time' released later in the year.
