Of all the musical beings that inhabit this planet (and some others), a link between them was missing that had not been identified. An androgynous crossover between reggaeton, cumbia, tropical new wave, rock culture, electronic music, psychedelia, hip hop, jazz and the most poisonous Latin music: Mandale Mecha, an Argentine-Brazilian combo that lands with a sound as close to the summer song as the digital reggaeton cumbia of the future.
Formed by musicians active in the Brazilian scene - Argentine Michu Mendez (from the bands Petit Mort, Muñoz, Menage), and Brazilians Chico Abreu (Skrotes, Los Desterros, Carolino) and Gustavo Koshikumo (Koshhi) -
Songs and lyrics in Portuguese, Spanish and English, the music is dominated by dancing moments, showing the influence of tropical new wave, electronic music, Latin pop, and even funk carioca, and some surprises that show other facets of the band, with hints of hip-hop, cumbia and psychedelia.
