Alexander Seaver, known professionally as Mako, is an American songwriter, music producer, composer, and DJ based in Los Angeles. Born on August 16, 1987, Seaver initially debuted as a duo with Logan Light. The duo formed after the 2011 Electric Daisy Carnival when Light invited Seaver to witness his world. Mako quickly built a working relationship with Interscope Records and released their first label single "Into the Light" featuring Sander van Doorn on Spinnin' Records in May 2013, which reached number 3 on the Beatport Top 100 chart. Their debut studio album Hourglass was released in 2017, featuring the chart-topping track "Smoke Filled Room." Following Light’s departure in 2017, Seaver transitioned into composing and producing for Riot Games, contributing to the Emmy-winning animated series Arcane. Notable collaborations include writing and producing "Legends Never Die" (2017) featuring Against the Current and Chrissy Costanza, which was platinum-certified.
