Archie Holmes, originally from London now based in Edinburgh has had a busy start to the year securing a residency with FLY Club, launching with a sold-out party, joining the ranks of esteemed prior residents such as Denis Sulta, Kilimanjaro, Barry Can’t Swim, and LF System. His Glasgow debut supporting Hayley Zalassi is followed by his first headline shows down in Bristol, with his summer schedule quickly filling up with gigs in Barcelona and festival appearances, including FLY’s Summer Warehouse alongside artists such as Mall Grab and Effy in May, and will be joining a stacked line-up at El Dorado in July.
Back in June he released his debut EP which received support from BBC Introducing along with getting numerous plays on Radio 1. Holmes has gained some strong momentum with his blend of uplifting electronica infused with elements of breaks and garage – he continues with this theme with his upcoming EP ‘Off Center’.
