Mathieu Vilbert is a film composer, violinist, and producer from Lyon, born in 1987. He won a competition at the age of 25, organized by the UCMF, which allowed him to hear his symphonic work performed at the Grand Rex in Paris. Passionate about a wide range of composers and musicians from various backgrounds (such as Alan Menken, Trent Reznor, Olafur Arnalds, Jon Por Birgisson, Hania Rani, Avishai Cohen, Claude Debussy...) and musical genres (classical, electronic, minimalist, jazz...), he stands out for his versatility in composing different styles of music, whether intimate or orchestral, classical or electronic, and receives awards for his film soundtracks. He is also a graduate in orchestration in Olivier Calmel's class and continues to refine his composition skills with Eric Tanguy and Jean-Michel Bernard.
