GlüXkinder, consisting of singer Sonja Kittel and guitarist Markus Lamers, are a German pop duo that were inspired by bands like Rosenstolz and Roxette, but have since developed their own musical style.
Initially produced by Platinum & Gold Award Winner Peter Jordan (Namika, Chima, Tim Bendzko, Yvonne Catterfeld, Ben Zucker), they wrote songs against racism and homophobia, among other things.
In 2017, the couple won the award for best music video at the German Short Film Festival.
»Buntes Leben« & »Schwerelos« followed in 2018 on EMI / Sony ATV Production Music for German television.
GlüXkinder supported Glas Perlenspiel live and toured at many CSD and other big festivals.
In 2020 they released the single »I am the way I am« and the EP »Wir sind so«.
In 2021 they won the "German Rock & Pop Prize" of the German Pop Foundation twice as "Best Pop Band" and "Best Pop Song" 2021.
Since 2022 they have been working on new songs for an EP with internationally multi-platinum producer Dom Rivinius (Taylor Swift, Eminem, Alicia Keys, BTS, Mark Ronson). German pop at a high international level.
