Anaklein, born Isabel Riesterer-Algarvio, is a French disc jockey and singer known for her contributions to dance music and electronic music. She began her career in the early 2000s, meeting her future husband and producer Fred Rister at a Lille nightclub. Initially signed to 3E Média, Anaklein's journey took a significant turn when the label went bankrupt. Her debut album Darkside was released in 2005, featuring a remix of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" and taking approximately two years to produce. The album included notable tracks such as "Lena", a cover of the Belgian group 2 Belgen's song, which was remixed by various DJs, including Joachim Garraud, who had been friends with Fred Rister since the 1990s when they met at Maxximum. Her discography further includes singles like "Emotion" (2003) and "Hey Little Girl" (2005). Her collaboration with DJ LBR & Nappy Paco on the track "Take Me Higher" in 2011 showcased her ability to adapt to different musical landscapes.
