Listen to the new single "Acaso" taken from the upcomig album!
Dela Marmy is a Portuguese artist, from Trás-os-Montes and Beira Baixa, living in Lisbon. Her writing and composition reveal, to those who listen to her, intimate and poetic songs, which meet the wild singularity of her voice.
After having released two EP's, which feature Sonic Boom, Charlie Francis and TYTUN she is now preparing to release her first album entirely in Portuguese, with influences from indie-folk, art pop and electronic. "Acaso feat. Sopa de Pedra" and "E se o céu se apagar" are the first advance singles from the album, aimed at the beginning of 2024.
Joana Sequeira Duarte was part of the band The Happy Mess, on synthesizers and vocals and later launched a solo career, debuting under the name Dela Marmy in 2019, developing from there a music where the most dream pop cohabited with more alternative rock or folk places, at the same time that, on stage, the songs gained colour, volume and a performative body, as she’s been connected to dance for many years. She dances as she sings, a mixture of delicacy and truth.
