Marisha Wallace announces her brand new album ‘Live In London’, to be released on 15th August.
Recorded live at the Adelphi Theatre in March, the album features a selection of musical theatre songs and original numbers performed in front of a sold-out audience. The album includes material from Dreamgirls, Gypsy, Aida, Guys and Dolls, Funny Girl, Annie, Hairspray, Cabaret, Oklahoma! and more. Wallace was also joined during the performance by her former Waitress co-stars Lucie Jones and Laura Baldwin, with whom she sang “Opening Up” and “A Soft Place to Land”. The first single is “Maybe This Time” from Cabaret
Marisha Wallace recently starred as Miss Adelaide in the smash-hit revival of Guys and Dolls, earning an Olivier Award nomination for
Best Actress in a Musical. She also received critical acclaim and an Olivier nomination for her performance as Ado Annie in the
groundbreaking production of Oklahoma! at the Young Vic. Her extensive stage credits include performing for His Majesty the King,
starring as Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray at the London Coliseum, originating the role of Becky in the West End production
of Waitress at the Adelphi Theatre, and making her West End debut as Effie White in Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre.
Marisha most recently received widespread critical acclaim for her performance as Sally Bowles in the London production of Cabaret
at the Kit Kat Club, with many critics hailing it as her career-defining role.
