STATION ECHO is a French electronic band created in 2013 in Lyon, France.
The group's orginal line-up consists of the following members: Echo singer (lead vocal, guitar & keyboards), Echo Machine (keyboards & machines) and Echo player (guitars).
Based on strong bass lines composed on Moog synthesizers, their songs include guitar tracks to emphasize melodies.
The band deliberately composed a music with a dark and melancholic universe to relay a quite pessimistic vision of human relationships.
The songs’ lyrics deal with love breakups, the fear of growing old, or rage that is satisfied.
Their first album title "Control voltage" refers to the limits of the human being to perceive their inner breaking point. Voltage measures electric tension and tension occurs in an individual’s body when they feel intense fear of being mentally or physically hurt. The album shows that sometimes, such tension is out of control and triggered off against someone else, just like the effect of a bullet.
They will soon release their second album titled "What should have been but never will" in the early 2025. First single "Mess Around" will be out on november 4th 2024.
