Born in Paris, Antoine Brochot studied double bass at the Bourg-la-Reine conservatory, then at the HEMU in Lausanne, Switzerland.
During his learning process, he had the chance to study with musicians such as Pierre Boussaguet, Laurent Coq and Yann Dubost.
His interest in the New York scene enabled him to rub shoulders with local jam sessions and study with Joe Sanders, Russell Hall and David Binney.
A sought-after sideman on the European scene, he is also a composer and leader of his quartet project. His debut album attracts the attention of TSF jazz, Jazz News Magazine, The Walkers (Japan) and FIP radio.
His quartet won first prize for composition at the 2023 edition of the Trophées du Sunside in Paris, and the new album “Because It's Only Right” was released in 2025 on the Jazz Family label.
Antoine has appeared at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Festival Django Reinhardt, Jazz à Saint-Germain des Prés, Duc des Lombards, Teatro La Scala…
