Hacride, a French metalcore djent, and avant-garde band, formed in 2001 in Poitiers. Initially influenced by death metal groups like Meshuggah and Strapping Young Lad, Hacride recorded their first demo, Cyanide Echoes, in 2003. The group's lineup included Samuel Bourreau on vocals, Adrien Grousset on guitar, Benoist Danneville on bass, and Olivier Laffond on drums. In 2005, they released their debut album, Deviant Current Signals, through Listenable Records, followed by extensive tours in France and Switzerland. Their second album, Amoeba (2007), featured a unique blend of flamenco and metal with the track "Zambra", a cover of Ojos de Brujo. Hacride's third album, Lazarus, was released in 2009. In 2013, they released their fourth album, Back to Where You've Never Been. The band has undergone lineup changes over the years, with members including Benoist Danneville on bass, Adrien Grousset on guitar, Florent Marcadet on drums, and Luis Roux on vocals.
