Ricardo Confessori started his musical life on the piano. He started to play drums at the age of 13. His first albun was in band Garcia & Garcia in 1990. In 1991 he joined the band Korzus for an year and a half. In 1993, he joined the band Angra, during the recording of "Angels Cry", Since then, Ricardo became worldwide known. In 2000, he left Angra, and in 2002 he established the band Shaman and toured the world. in 2009, Ricardo returned to his old band “Angra” and toured South America. In 2011 recorded the Album “Aqua” , played in Rock in Rio 2011 and toured the world. In 2013 and 2014 Make a big tour "Angels Cry Tour 20th Anniversary" with Angra, going through World . In total more than 50 dates, and launches the eponymous DVD in 2015. In 2016 he set up Confessori solo project, with renowned musicians accompanyingIn 2017 he goes on tour with Massacration and records the Live Metal Espancation DVD in SP. In 2018 he returns with the band Shaman with the original formation. In 2019 continues the super successful reunion tour when Andre Matos passed away , finishing the reunion. In 2022 releases “Rescue” with Shaman and a new singer. In 2023 and 2024 releases 4 singles with his solo project Confessori Ricardo strongest qualities are the double bass drums, the brazilian groove mixed with metal and his stick twirlings. Ricardo participate in several workshops and is endorsed by: Zildjan Cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, Dermiisdrumhead , Drum Color Luthier & Power Click Monitors
